Our weekend women’s retreat happened at the end of August, and we’ve just got our photos back from the digital camera 🥹

We spent our days with slower mornings, yoga, learning about your breathing muscle, sound healing, breathwork, sauna, time in nature, silence, meaningful chats, good food and gorj company.

A weekend for women focusing on slowing down, reconnecting with ourselves and just being for a second without distractions🤍

✨Retreat Review ✨

I attended the overnight retreat. Upon arrival I had unconsciously been operating in functional freeze. Throughout the stay, the intention set for each class and the genuine care felt from the facilitators made it possible for my nervous system to bounce back into felt safety. I’m incredibly greatful to the amazing women who hosted and would definetly return. When I left I felt peaceful, safe and secure. I was reminded that even though I am a mother I deserve to show up for myself. I loved it.

Awwwwwww just love sm 💕🧚‍♀️✨🌸 here’s a little snippet of last weekend at our women’s weekend retreat.

I co-host retreats with @synchronize.therapy in Scotland. Anna brings in yoga and sound meditation and I create classes from my clinical reflexology, fascia and breathwork- in the most perfect settings.

This is our 3rd day retreat and our first full weekend retreat. Coming along for the full weekend really gives you a different feel. Having the evenings together, getting to know each other, hearing what they’ve experienced and what type of journey everyone is on is really special.

Sat at the wild spa drinking tea, eating biscuits and marshmallows, nipping in and out of the sauna, then heading next door to your pod to wake up tomorrow and do it all over again. You have all of our time to ask, learn and just be ✨

A weekend of proper rest, nurturing, connection and care ~ a wee bit of time away from the busyness of everyday life, surrounded by hills and proper Scottish fresh air. There’s honestly nothing like getting out the city and having good fresh air with no noise of traffic and Edinburgh fringe busyness !!!

You’ll have your own jacuzzi outside your pod, time to soak up all the therapies in the tipi, eat delicious homemade food, make some lovely new connections and just have a proper chance to slow down.

There’s also the outdoor spa with the sauna, cold plunge, outdoor shower and jacuzzi, beautiful walk nearby and natural water if you fancy a dip.

And the sun is meant to be out Friday, Saturday and Sunday🥹☀️

Just a lovely weekend to slow down, breathe, reconnect and be looked after!

There’s a bit more to us than the retreat hosts you see on the website…

I actually followed Anna on Instagram and messaged her, which eventually led to her inviting me to one of her sound baths. We met up to chat about potentially collaborating and pretty quickly realised we had a lot more in common than just an idea for a collab event..

We’d both travelled a lot when we were younger, lived a few different versions of ourselves and eventually found ourselves wanting to create a lifestyle that felt more sustainable - one that actually allowed us to look after ourselves along the way.

We’d also both found our own forms of healing through the practices we eventually went on to study. I trained in reflexology, breathwork and fascia & Anna studied psychotherapy, Reiki and yoga.

We have a pretty similar belief: life is absolutely for living. We’re not interested in wellness that means never having a late night, never drinking a glass of wine or never allowing for mistakes.

We like to have a balance, it’s not always perfectly balanced, it’s not always sunshine and rainbows but we do feel internally grateful we have practices that we can come back to that keep us grounded, connected and feeling good in ourselves.

We are really passionate about our work but thankfully don’t always take life too seriously 👼🤍✨
