A sauna increases heart rate and adrenaline - it’s a stressor on the body. Both that were already bubbling under the surface for me before I went in. “Not anxious”but a busy, laptop studying, always on kinda days.

I used to power through 20 minutes, forcing myself to sweat it all out, mouth breathing and pushing through - basically piling more intensity onto a nervous system that was already overloaded. The heat drives your heart rate up. Mouth breathing increases an activated state.

Now I see it differently through training to be a breathwork facilitator

If I can’t breathe calmly through my nose, I don’t stay in.

this means I can be in a stressful environment (the heat from the sauna) while actually signalling to my nervous system that it doesn’t need to get into a further stressful state...

This tiny tweak is helping me build stress resilience instead of just stacking on more stress🎊🎊🎊🎊

I hand blend a selection of teas specially for your 1:1 treatments and events. The mini jars are available on the shelf for clients to take home😌✨

Side note ~ I was going to zoom in to hide the chipped radiator but it is reality over here tbh

You’re always welcome to come solo! Dw if you don’t drive - we plan to have a carpool from Perth station when we know who’s not driving.

Our day retreat runs from 11am–6pm in the gorgeous countryside at @maycroftretreat !! Just look at the video ahhh✨

Little update ✨ As you may know, my booking system is now built into my new website! ✨

I’m just getting the hang of it and hope to go live next week so you can start booking for March in the fresh new studio !! If you’d like a specific day or time in March, DM me and I’ll save your appointment - evenings are booking up!
