Natural Labour Reflexology

Reflexology deeply relaxes the nervous system, reducing stress and tension as your body prepares for labour. This calming effect supports emotional balance, helping you feel more centred and in control.

Reflexology promotes the release of endorphins, your body’s natural pain relief hormone, and oxytocin, which supports smooth and effective contractions. Together, these hormones help your body work naturally during labour.

Physical tension, especially in the pelvic region, can slow the progression of labour. Reflexology works to release this tension by targeting reflex zones linked to the pelvis, hips, and lower back. This relaxation of the body is paired with a calming effect on the mind, helping you stay focused and at ease.

Good circulation is key during labour, ensuring oxygen and nutrients reach your baby. Reflexology can gently enhance blood flow and energy circulation, helping reduce swelling and support muscle function.

14 - 40+ weeks

I support pregnancy clients in a gentle, nurturing way, creating moments of peace and connection during this time of change. To allow your body the time it needs to adjust, I begin treatments from 14 weeks and can continue supporting you right up until you go into labour. My aim is to help you feel grounded, balanced, and supported throughout your pregnancy.
